In this post i would like to give some idea of how the mobile express work in MS CRM 2011.
In MS Dynamic CRM 2011 no need of any extra installation for mobile express it comes with the base installations.All browsers with HTML 4.0 and newer,as well as JavaScript support CRM mobile express.
Some Supporting devices
- All Windows Phones using Internet explorer.
- Blackberry phones (storm, curve) using blackberry or opera browsers.
- Apple iphone and ipad that uses Safari browsers.
- All Nokia mobiles (Nokia N series and E series using Nokia browsers or opera).
- HTC mobiles (HTC HD2, Palm Treo etc that use IE and opera).
- Almost all recently manufactured Android devices (mobiles or pads) are supported to access CRM mobile express as they support HTML 4.0 and newer, as well as JavaScript.
To access CRM through mobile just type the URL and then give your credential.
sample URL format:- http:// teamforntline.crm5.dynamics.com/m
The 'm' at the end of the URL stand for the mobile version.
Use your same CRM URL for mobile express but add
/m at the end.
Server side Configurations for MS Dynamic CRM 2011 Mobile Express.
1) Go to setting >> customization >> customize the system.
2) Select the entity which you need to see in CRM mobile express.
3) Checked the mobile express option in the selected entity.
4) Go to forms in the selected entity and select the form which having form type mobile.
5) Then add the Attributes which you need to display in mobile CRM.
6) Go to security roles and check that Go Mobile option is set as organizational.
7) Publish the customization.
